For another quick tip this winter, check the fluid dipstick of your car's transmission to keep it running at maxiumum capacity, if your car has one. Low transmission-fluid levels can cause transmission shifting problems, which is the last issue that you want to have during the winter with unpredictable weather. Pink fluids show that your transmission doesn't need to be replaced, while dark red or brown transmission fluid should be taken care of. If the fluids smell burnt, it's a sure indication to get your care serviced immediately.
